Udiinsky Ostroog (Udinsk) is a defensive fortification in western Transbaikalia, located at the mouth of the Uda River.
Founded in 1677, 1678 or 1680 on the site of an already existing winter hut, founded in 1666 by a detachment of the Barguzin Cossack Gavrila Lovtsov. Now the city of Ulan-Ude, Republic of Buryatia.
