Arkatag (Przhevalsky Range) is a mountain range in the central part of Kunlun. The length is about 650 km, the highest point is Mount Ulugmuztag.
The ridge was discovered in 1884 by the Russian traveler N. M. Przhevalsky and was named “Mysterious” by him. In 1886, the Russian Geographical Society renamed the ridge in memory of the scientist’s merits.
