Saint Petersburg. View of the Neva and the Peter and Paul Fortress.

"Vue de la Newa".

 

A very beautiful view of the Peter and Paul Fortress located on Hare Island and the delta of the Neva River. The width of the river in this place is about 400 - 600 meters. In the background you can see Vasilyevsky Island and the Exchange building. In the foreground is the floating Troitsky Bridge, built in 1827, which was the longest in St. Petersburg, about 500 meters long.
