The Mikhailovsky Palace in St. Petersburg is the palace of the Grand Duke Mikhail Pavlovich, the fourth son of Paul I and Maria Fedorovna, the younger brother of Emperors Alexander I and Nicholas I. Built in 1819-1825 according to the project of the architect K. I. Rossi in the Russian Empire style.
