"The Cottage of Peter the Great"

The dacha of Peter the Great was a country house located on the shore of the Gulf of Finland, on a large green “nose” that protrudes into the Gulf of Finland just above the Sestra River. It was built in 1719, after the return of Peter I from the Battle of Gangut. Peter ordered a park to be established and several hundred young oak trees to be planted. Today, all that remains of the residence is the park and old oak trees in the Dubki Park.
