The engraving - Lheritier (French name - Lheritier; real name Romain Thomas, Romain Thomas), a French actor and draftsman. Born in the commune of Neuilly-sur-Seine, in a well-to-do family, worked in a bank, but recorded an acting career. According to legend, the pseudonym Lheritier (from the French l'heritier - heir) was taken from the pronouncing words of his father: "After all, you are the heir of a respectable family!" In 1831 he made his debut at the meeting of the Theatre Moliere in Paris. After that, he joined the troupe of the Theater Palais-Royal, performed mainly comic roles. In addition to his acting career, Lheritier is known as the author of popular drawn cartoons for actors and playwrights.
