Saint Isaac's Cathedral, Boston, 1887.

 

Construction of the cathedral under the leadership of Montferrand began in 1818, lasted 40 years and ended in 1858. The modern building of the cathedral is the fourth temple in honor of Isaac of Dalmatia, built on this site; the first temple was built in 1710 by order of Peter I.
