"Light Cavalry of the Guards"    

 

Light cavalry - Hussars (war on horseback), a branch of the army that used fast and small breeds of horses capable of making long journeys on pasture. She was armed with sabers and pistols. They were used for reconnaissance, guard duty, outflanking maneuvers and attacks on small groups of enemy infantry and their pursuit. The first hussars were from Hungary.
