" Il giuoco del Babki"

The game of babki (in kozny) is an old folk game, to which modern dice owe their origin. The gameplay consists in the dexterity of throwing dice ("babki"), which gave the name to the game. The game has a large number of variations that were invented at different times, in different countries, and in which different game objects are used (mainly small bones of the legs of ungulates).
