Yuryev Monastery (Yuryev-Georgievsky Monastery, Yuryevsky Monastery) is a male monastery of the Russian Orthodox Church, named after the Great Martyr George. According to legend, it was founded in 1030 by Prince Yaroslav the Wise. It is located on the southern outskirts of Veliky Novgorod on the banks of the Volkhov River.
